| The Tuloso~Midway Independent School
District offers its employees an open enrollment opportunity one time per
year. You should be prepared to make the appropriate decisions
regarding your upcoming benefit selections during this open enrollment
period.
Review your current coverage to determine if you
need to make any changes for the upcoming plan year. Tuloso~Midway ISD
goes to great efforts to provide its employees with the best benefit package
available at a cost that is affordable and manageable. Many of the premiums
associated with your Tuloso~Midway ISD benefits package are deducted from
your pay "pre-tax" basis saving you additional money.
If you participation, or want to begin
participation in, either the Medical Reimbursement and/or
Dependent Care Expense programs, you will need to determine what your
annual expenses will be for the current year plan. Participation in
either of these programs can save you a tremendous amount of money on your
income taxes. Money contributed to either of these plans must be used
for qualified expenses during the pan year or the unused funds will be
forfeited.
If you choose to decline participation in any of
the benefits offered by Tuloso~Midway ISD, you will not be able to change
your mind after the close of the open enrollment period unless you
experience a qualifying event or a "family status change".
Every employee must complete the Enrollment
Process, even if you do not participate in the plan.
If you have questions about the plan please contact
