Medical
Tuloso-Midway ISD offers employees 3 Blue Cross/Blue Shield (TRS Active Care) health plan options. Employees compare the Active Care Plan 1, Active Care Plan 2, and Active Care Plan 3 plans and select the one that best meets their needs. Monthly premiums are affordably priced.

Dental
Dental health is an important part of total health and wellness. Humana Dental offers the Traditional Pl us Plan.  The plan covers a wide range of services and dentists. Employees pay monthly premiums for their selected coverage.

Term Life & Disability Insurance

Tuloso-Midway offers each employee the option of  additional term life insurance.  Tuloso-Midway employees may elect an Conseco policy that provides benefits directly to participants who experience certain illnesses and miss work due to illness.  This policy would protect the employee from loss of income.  
 

Cancer

Tuloso-Midway offers a comprehensive coverage for medical expenses incurred as a result of cancer. However, the diagnosis and treatment of cancer can present financial hardship for employees and their families. For this reason, Tuloso-Midway makes available supplemental Cancer coverage.

Tax Free Health Benefits
Tuloso-Midway ISD offers all employees the opportunity to pay for health premiums and certain medical expenses with tax-free income through our Section 125 Cafeteria Plan. Employees may elect to pay their T-M ISD health premiums with pre-tax money. They may also elect to put pre-tax income into a Medical Spending Account to reimburse out-of-pocket eligible expenses (e.g., co-payments, eye glasses, dental expenses child care expenses, etc.)
