TMMS Crime Stoppers
The group meets and votes on the amount of reward money to pay the students that report inappropriate behaviors on campus that leads to disciplinary actions. Last year the group awarded over $300 in reward money to students at the middle school campus. The organization looks out for the safety and security of the students and campus and works closely with the police department of Corpus Christi.
To report a crime on campus, notify one of the principals or Call 888-TIPS. All information is kept anonymous.
The Tuloso-Midway Middle School Crime Stoppers have received a helping hand from the Police Department. The crime stoppers unit of the Corpus Christi Police Department donated a banner that will be on display in the school cafeteria. The banner informs students of the presence of the student crime stopper unit at the middle school and has the tip hot line number available. Students are also informed that they would receive "cash for clues" to help in any investigation of "crimes" at school. Rewards can range from $10.00 to $200.00 depending on the situation. Padre Staples Mall donated t-shirts to the organization that identifies the students as members of the Youth Crime Stoppers Unit.
